If you aren’t familiar with the phrase “The cobbler’s children always go barefoot” then… well then this post isn’t for you. And possibly not even about you. It is however for and about me.
It’s about how once a year or so I pop over here to remind myself that yes I am indeed paying for prime real estate and my name in dusty lights and my brand is updates once a year primarily to say “Wow look at the passage of time. Weird, huh?”
The only thing weird about it is how much time I spend “cobbling” other poets, activists and organizations shoes –er, websites.
This my friends is exactly what you do not want to do. This is not what you want your clients or readers to see when they think who the hell is G.L. Morrison (or whoever the hell you are). So don’t do this.
Until I learn to be less comfortable barefoot and a willing to leave a clean, beautiful and lasting impression on the net… let this serve as a bad example.
And hey, clients and readers, do as I say not as I do. And, all the rest of those cliches.
Anyway… SHOULDN’T YOU BE WRITING?
